Ruby Bermudez has been a cornerstone of the soccer community since 2007, beginning her journey as a recreational soccer coach alongside her husband. Edwin Martinez Together, they have coached their son and daughter, as well as numerous young athletes from beginning skill level to professional development, instilling a love of the game and valuable life skills.
With extensive experience working for the same club since 2006 where she began as a volunteer, Ruby has dedicated herself to youth development and community involvement in soccer. In a significant step for adult players, she and her husband have founded the Eastern Prince William Adult Soccer League (EPWSL), which provides a platform for adults to enjoy the sport in a supportive environment.
Ruby's passion for soccer and commitment to her community have made her a vital figure in promoting the sport, fostering teamwork and encouraging participation at all ages.
